Beat the Pros

HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO FAIRLY TAKE ON THE PGA PROFESSIONALS IN ONE OF MC3’s MOST POPULAR EVENTS! YOU CAN PLAY IN YOUR NORMAL GROUP AT ANY TIME THROUGHOUT THE DAY.

HOW DOES THE SCORING WORK?

Each two-person team will count their NET best ball on each hole. Everyone participating will receive their full handicap (including the pros). Shots will be given where they fall according to the scorecard. Turn in your scorecard to the Golf Shop at the end of the round. If your team score is lower than the Pros team score you win!  Men (and all the pros) must play from the Gold tees and all players must hole out all their putts (NO GIMMIES).

WHO CAN I PICK FOR A PARTNER?

Just stop in the Golf Shop before you begin your round to let us know who your partner and opponents will be.  You may pick ANYONE playing that day THAT HAS NOT STARTED PLAYING (you do not have to play with your partner). BUT YOU MUST PICK YOURSELF AS PART OF THE TEAM. You may also place more than one bet with more than one partner. Bets can be 9- or 18-hole wagers.

WHO WILL MY OPPONENTS BE?

The pros, Dean Zahn and Andrew Farrand and possibly a mystery pro.

WHAT CAN I WIN?

What you can win is completely up to you. We will take any wager up to $500 per bet. If your team loses to or ties the Pros you will receive 100% of your bet back in Golf Shop credit. If your team beats the Pros then you receive 1½ times your original bet in Golf Shop credit (credit can not be applied to previous purchases). Example: Bet $300 and tie or lose and get $300 in credit, win and get $450. YOU CAN’T LOSE!!

STOP IN BEFORE YOUR ROUND ON TO PLACE YOUR BETS!

This is a great way to obtain credit for a new set of clubs, golf balls, apparel, or whatever you need for the season ahead. All you need to do is check in the Golf Shop to pick your partner and place your wager before you start play. Good luck!!
